The Wedding of Jess & Sukh

Can we all agree that men are usually the little spoons in a relationship? It has been proven that many men enjoy the idea of being cuddled and the reasonings include, added warmth and comfort, that it showcases men are entirely capable of passing the responsibilities to their partner, hair isn’t in their faces and much more. So to Sukh we say: Don’t worry, you’re not the only one!

With the sun out and smiling down upon Jess & Sukh, it was bound to be a stunning and beautiful day. Nestled in the picturesque Swan Valley, Jess & Sukh were up bright and early to prepare for their big day in Nikola Estate.

With 2 bridesmaids, her sisters and her mother in tow, Jess’s bridal room was bustling with laughter and joy making it such a breeze to film and take photos of everyone in the room! Jess could not leave the room without, of course, makeup which was beautifully executed by Lia Marie and instantly had Jess transformed into the beautiful bride-to-be. As the best friends they are, Jess’s bridesmaids were bound to offer help in some way and that extended to helping Jess out with a lovely sleek bun, accentuating her beautiful cheekbones and collarbone. Not missing out on the opportunity to take photos, every single moment was either focused on getting ready or looking picture-perfect for the cameras. And finally, the big reveal, drumroll please…

Jess looked absolutely ravishing in an A-Lined Boho Chic-styled wedding dress adorned with off-the-shoulder poofy sleeves and a knee-high slit that perfectly showed off her figure. What’s more amazing is the fact that the wedding dress and bridesmaids’ dresses were all skilfully created by the hands of Jess’s mother (AM PM Dressmaker & Tailor). Clearly, we now know where she got the looks and brains from! With jewellery from Samir Majiet, Jess and her team were more than ready to take on the long day ahead.

If it wasn’t obvious from the start how much Sukh likes to be pampered, let it be known that Sukh made it even more crystal clear. Sukh had the guns loaded and was more than prepared to outshine everyone, maybe even his bride-to-be. First and foremost, a face mask to brighten up his complexion, followed by a 10-step skincare routine that had his skin looking plump and juicy and of course, he had to run his fingers through his luscious shiny locks. Ready in his cream-coloured suit from MJ Bale, Sukh received a few drinks and kisses from his mates and was ready to meet his bride.

With a flower wedding arch at the end of the aisle, Nikola Estate was absolutely transformed thanks to Ivy Bloom Events and it could not have been dreamier. If seeing Jess in all her glory wasn’t enough, the moment Jess agreed to watch ‘The Matrix’ with Sukh, everyone instantly knew they were endgame. The most exciting part of the ceremony was no doubt the GENDER REVEAL and we’re sure both Jess & Sukh were pleased with the result. Wish to know? Watch their Wedding Trailer here!

Of course what’s the point of Iceberg Media if we’re not there to take stunning pictures? We whisked the couple away for a couple of minutes to ensure their ‘forever’ would be forever captured. The heavens were most definitely looking upon them giving them a halo-like glow which thankfully, we were able to capture! Against the warm Autumn leaves, Jess & Sukh were a vision and we are so happy to have been able to bless them with what we do best.

What time is it? Party time!

Thanks to Design By Demi, everyone was blessed with beautifully illustrated invitations and with the help of the stunning seat chart, everyone was taken to their seats and ready to party and fill their bellies. Thanks to Priscilla Le, the reception was bustling with energy thanks to her energetic and bubbly personality and honestly, what more could you ask for? However, it takes 2 hands to clap and to match Priscilla’s energy, we had heartwarming speeches from friends and family that might have had more than one person in the room shedding a few tears. Not forgetting to fuel everyone’s belly, Nikola Estate had food ready for everyone to devour and for dessert, Perth Kawaii Cakery supplied a 4-tier rustic wedding cake adorned with flowers that had everyone up on their feet to dance in order to burn more calories! Let’s not forget Harry & Sam and DJ Jayson Brown for blasting their insane tracks that even had the lions dancing and snuggling up to everyone.
